OUR STORY.
Busy since Millenium Year 2000
The early years
2000 - 2003
The business was established as Water Trade Limited in 2000 by Lee Richards in Slough, Berkshire. W.T.L began life as a registered plumbing and heating company carrying out mainly domestic work in and around the Berks and Bucks area.
In 2002 the company took on its second engineer and began to expand.
Expansion
2003 - 2005
The company grew steadily in the early 2000's gaining a good reputation locally with domestic clients. Expanding in 2004 into London and beyond providing services to domestic and commercial clients. For commercial work W.T.L took on further engineers and began working alongside shopfitting clients working on contracts such as Pizza Express resturants.
Going forward and building services
2006 - 2016
In 2006 our building services company was formed as part of W.T.L and provided contract and maintenance services for Management groups as well as domestic clients. Work for domestic and commercial clients grew steadily and W.T.L won a number of refurbishment contracts for Southwark Council's leisure facilities. We now had a team of 12 and moved to our first office in Cookham Berkshire.
Growth
2016 - 2022
Growth was strong and we established our projects team who secured a prestigious contract to reconfigure the drainage system for the Shell Centre on London's South Bank. Our support services clients grew rapidly taking on contracted services of over 100 properties for residential management groups, housing association and supported housing groups.
Working nationally, we deliver services to clients in residential, commercial, leisure, retail and housing sectors.
